ChezBot — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the ChezBot application ("the App") published by GeKiGa Studio ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Apple Standard EULA (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/), which are incorporated by reference. Where these Terms differ from the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Standard EULA prevails for Apple-related matters.

2. Acceptable use

• Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by law.
• Do not use the App to infringe the rights of others, transmit unlawful content, or interfere with the Service's operation.
• Do not resell, sublicence, or redistribute the App or its content.

3. Subscriptions (Apple 3.1.2(a) disclosures)

ChezBot offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock full access to lessons, puzzles, and advanced analysis, remove ads, and provide priority updates.

• Title & length: ChezBot Monthly (1 month) and ChezBot Annual (12 months). A free trial may be offered on first purchase.
• Price: Shown on the in-app paywall before purchase. Prices vary by region and local taxes.
• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Renewal charge: Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the disclosed price.
• Managing & cancelling: You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings › Subscriptions after purchase. Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription.
• Free trials: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Content and intellectual property

The App, including all lessons, puzzles, branding, and software, is the intellectual property of GeKiGa Studio and is protected by copyright and other laws. Purchasing a subscription grants you access to the content for the duration of your subscription; it does not transfer ownership.

5. Third-party services

The App integrates with Apple, Google AdMob, Google Firebase, and Cloudflare. Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of those services. See our Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. AI-generated explanations are for educational purposes and may contain errors; they are not professional coaching advice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GeKiGa Studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Viet Nam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence continue to apply.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
